Our friend Joe Lewis will be missed
Gena & I are saddened by the news that our good friend Joe Lewis passed away this morning. Joe is a true martial arts legend and one of the toughest men I ever fought. Our prayers go out to Joe's family, students & friends. We miss you already Joe.

USA's First Judo Gold Medal goes to Kayla Harrison
Congratulations to USA Judo Team member Kayla Harrison for winning an Olympic gold medal in London today. This is the USA's first ever Judo gold medal in Olympic history.

Grandmaster Jae Chul Shin touched many lives.
Gena & I just received word that one of my original Tang Soo Do instructors, Grandmaster Jae Chul Shin, passed away today. This is a sad time for many martial artist around the world. Our deepest condolences go out to his family & his World Tang Soo Do Association members.
